The Rams have now had three games postponed in a row since picking up a comprehensive 8-1 victory at Ash United.
The Rams are well positioned in the final play-off place in fifth position in the Division One table, and Lea’s team face a key match away at third-placed Downton on Saturday (3pm) – weather permitting.
“First of all, I just hope the Downton game is on,” said Lea.
“I’ve told the lads that although we’ve got teams in sixth, seventh and eighth who are chasing us there’s no reason why we can’t look up at Downton.
“They’re only two places ahead of us and it will be a good test of how far we’ve come.
“We’re in good form at the moment and have good momentum – we want to keep it going.”
After Saturday’s trip to Downton, the Rams are scheduled to entertain Fleetlands at Love Lane next Tuesday night (January 24) in the Wessex League Cup. Kick-off is at 7.45pm. Petersfield then host Ringwood Town in the league on Saturday, January 28 (3pm).
