Farnham Town made it seven wins out of seven in the Isthmian League South Central Division with a 2-1 victory at home to Metropolitan Police last Saturday.

Owen Dean put Farnham ahead in the third minute and Shay Brennan made it 2-0 after 31 minutes. Wilson Bernal pulled one back on 59 minutes but Town cruised home before a crowd of 889. Farnham are away to Guernsey on Saturday.

At the other end of the Isthmian South Central, an 87th-minute equaliser from substitute Jaheim Kamara earned Badshot Lea a 2-2 draw at Rayners Lane which was enough to lift them off the bottom of the table on goal difference.

Rio Connell put Rayners Lane ahead in the ninth minute with a great shot into the top corner, then Frank Keita spun to volley into the bottom corner from 25 yards and double their lead on 22 minutes.

Harvey Harry pulled one back with a really well worked goal two minutes later and Kamara’s late strike sealed a deserved point for the Baggies before 96 spectators.

Badshot Lea were due to play away at Hayes & Yeading United as the Herald went to press on Tuesday night, and they travel to Kingstonian on Saturday.

It was a tale of three penalties at the Anstey Park Enclosure as 194 fans saw Alton draw 2-2 at home to Guildford City in the Combined Counties League Premier Division South.

Reece Robins gave Guildford the lead in the sixth minute but Owen Tanner levelled from the spot for Alton on 39 minutes. Robins restored Guildford’s lead with another penalty on the stroke of half-time, then Tanner netted the third spot kick after 61 minutes to secure a point for the Brewers.

Alton were due to play away to Cobham on Tuesday night, and on Saturday they go to Balham.

In the Wessex League Division 1, Josh Jefferies’ sixth-minute goal gave Alresford Town a 1-0 win at Hamworthy United in front of a crowd of 106. On Saturday Alresford host Cove.

In the Southern Combination Football League Premier Division, Petersfield Town were due to travel to Wick on Tuesday night and go to Little Common on Saturday.
