It’s been quite a week for Lee Coyne.

The Bordon B hotshot knocked in a 50-plus break in a singles knockout match, scored heavily in a doubles game and made a season-high knock of 38 in Division Two of the Farnham & District Billiards & Snooker League.

Coyne’s 70-9 victory over Adi Weal got the ball rolling on a 3-1 win over a Passfield A side with promotion hopes, although only four points separates second from seventh in a tight division with Liss RBL C five clear at the top.

Keith Brewer was in fine form for Liss RBL B in Division One making breaks of 28 and 24 as they saw off bottom side Grayshott B 3-1.

Tony Edwards also made a pair of 20-plus breaks for leaders Sovereign B.

Comrades B are top of Division Three after Phil Webberley’s 55-29 final frame win against league legend Ken Scott secured victory for the leaders.
