There is a new team at the top of Division Two of the Farnham & District Billiards & Snooker League as the long-term leaders have dropped a place at the penultimate hurdle.

Traco B are in prime position to take the title thanks to huge 3-1 victory against former promotion rivals Passfield A.

Wins by Shaun Cooper, Chris Gladney and a final frame clincher by Richard Berkij have left them with one hand on the trophy.

There’s still a lot to play for with disposed leaders, Liss RBL C, one behind after losing 3-1 to third-place Shottermill B.

Rodney Batehub won the final frame for the home side to secure victory with just two points separating the top three with two going up.

There was a big win for Bourne A at the bottom as their 3-1 win at Lindford B lifted them two points clear of their hosts and Traco F with a single match remaining.

There was a big end-of-season twist in Division Three as Robert Dennison hit a season-high break of 40 for Bordon.

Congratulations to Comrades B, Alton Cons F and Traco E who have all secured promotion to Division Two. The latter face Comrades B in the final match with the Haslemere side needing a draw to secure the title.
