Haslemere Tennis Club have unveiled new adult coaching sessions.
As part of Haslemere Tennis Club’s aim to be inclusive and accessible, new coaching sessions are being introduced for members and the wider community.
The club already have a healthy membership of almost 500, which consists of adults and juniors.
The club also currently supports members and non-members with engaging and fun coaching sessions including popular tennis camps aimed at children in the school holidays.
In addition to the club’s extensive coaching timetable, the club’s head coach Josh Woodward has drawn up a six-week course aimed at adult beginners and players who wish to improve their game with specific sessions on shot tactics and doubles drills.
There are currently two courses planned, with the first starting on Monday, February 24, and the second six-week course starting after Easter on Monday, April 21.
Courses will cost £48 for members and £66 for non-members.
Sessions are capped at eight people per class, with adult beginner sessions having no more than six people per session.
Sign up for the six-week courses is on a first come, first served basis.
Adult beginner sessions will be held on Monday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
Doubles drills and tactics sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
Shot clinic sessions will be held on Friday afternoons from 1pm to 2pm.
