A man has been arrested after a woman in her nineties suffered serious head injuries in a hit and run in Church Crookham.
The 94 year old pedestrian from Fleet was knocked down on Reading Road South at 6.36pm last Sunday (November 13).
She remained in hospital as of Tuesday afternoon.
The driver of the car, which police believe was a black Vauxhall Corsa, did not stop at the scene.
Police say it was travelling from the direction of Fleet town centre and then headed towards Farnham / Aldershot after the collision.
A 30-year-old man from Aldershot has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of a collision and failing to report a collision.
He has been released under investigation.
PC James Hall, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who may have information that could help.
“Were you in the area at the time of the incident? Did you see what happened, or did you see the vehicle before or after the incident?
“We would also like to speak to anyone who was driving in the area at the time who has a dash cam fitted in their vehicle.”
