A Mid-Hampshire school clearly has the formula for academic success as their science results were amazing.

A cool 100 per cent of Perins students who sat Physics and Biology achieved a Grade 4 or above GCSE while 97 per cent of Chemistry students got a four or more.

The numbers also added up in Economics with 89 per cent getting a Grade 4 or higher in the subject.

“Perins is extremely proud of all our learners and for this particular year group’s resilience, developed over some extremely challenging years,” said Mark Nevola, head of the Alresford school.

“Whilst the pandemic is in the past, its legacy continues to haunt education, as many of the students in this year group experienced severe disruption to the early part of their secondary school learning.”

“I am delighted at these results which is of the work our students have put in during undoubtedly difficult times,” said Steve Jones, CEO.
