One of Farnham’s most loved groups is getting ready to light the touchpaper on a sparking evening of family-friendly entertainment.

Tickets are now available online for the annual Farnham Fireworks and Torchlit Procession on Saturday, November 2.

Live music, fire performers and Taiko drumming will also feature during the event organised by Farnham Round Table in aid of local good causes.

The night kicks off with the magical torchlit procession led by bagpipers from the town centre to Farnham Park. Torches must be pre-ordered alongside tickets and collected from Waggon Yard before the 6.15pm departure time.

Once at the park, the bonfire will be lit at 7.15pm, followed by a spectacular fireworks display at 7.45pm.

Don’t miss the Guy competition, with schools and community groups invited to contribute creative entries, judged by the Mayor of Farnham, Brodie Mauluka.

There will be a Hogs Back Brewery bar, mulled wine and street food while Birdies Coffee House and Bar will also stay open on the night, offering food and drinks away from the hubbub of the park.

The event sponsored by Farnham College, LocaMed and MFC IT Services is a key fundraiser with all proceeds supporting local causes.

Resulting funds will provide everything from Christmas supermarket vouchers for vulnerable families to coats for schoolchildren, as well as sporting facilities for local teams, Farnham Food Bank and emergency support for those in need.

Tickets (£5 children, £11 adults) are available from https://farnhamroundtable.org.uk/events/fireworktickets/ - with no cash sales on the night.
