A FOUR-year-old boy has taken on a triathlon to help his girlfriend.

Blue Warren-Smith, from Aldershot, who will be starting at Badshot Lea Village Infant School in September, has raised almost £200 by cycling, scooting and running at Whiteley Village.

Blue has raised the money for his girlfriend Carmela Chillery-Watson, five, who has a rare form of muscular dystrophy.

As well as raising money for her charity, Carmela’s Stand Up To Muscular Dystrophy, he also raised awareness of the muscle wasting condition she has.

Carmela is trying to remain as mobile as possible to keep her muscles working for as long as possible. To find out more visit carmelasstanduptomusculardystrophy.co.uk.
