CHILDREN at Petersfield Infant School got into the Easter spirit by making and wearing seasonal bonnets on the last day of term.
The children at the St Peter’s Road school wore their bonnets to a special assembly, where they talked about the Easter story and sung songs and hymns with an Easter theme.
The whole school, including all the staff, got up to sing a school favourite – the spring chicken song.
Headteacher Allyson Crew said: “There were some very creative designs this year, and they all looked amazing when the children came together. The staff wore their own creations too!”
