A HOUSE in Headley Down was left in a mess after burglars broke in and stole possessions last Wed- nesday. The property, in Hearn Vale, was broken into between 9.45am and 12.20pm. Other recent thefts reported to police include: n Scaffolding was stolen from a building site in Whitehill last Tuesday, April 10. The equipment was taken from a fenced-off area of the building site, in Petersfield Road, between 10.30am and 10.45am. n Between 5pm last Monday and 6.30pm last Tuesday, a purple Chopper bicycle was stolen from the greenhouse of a property in Chalet Hill, Bordon. n A canopy from a table-and-chairs set was stolen from a Bordon front garden between Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15. The canopy was taken from the outdoor open-plan area of the home in Park Street. n The contents of a handbag and a holdall were taken from an insecure Peugeot 206 while it was parked in Liphook Road, Lindford, on Sunday. Police have also received reports of damage to vehicles and property. n Vandals damaged a parked Peugeot van, in Woolmer Way, Bordon last week. The driver's window, the windscreen and the back door were smashed between 7pm last Tuesday and 7.30am last Wednesday. n A window was smashed at Weyford County Junior School, in Headley Down, last week. The damage was caused between 4.30pm last Tuesday, and 1pm last Wednesday, but entry was not gained. n A back garden fence in Bordon's Oakley Road was kicked in between last Thursday and Saturday. n A rock was used to damage a Peugeot Partner parked on the driveway of a home in Liphook Road, Headley, between Saturday and Sunday.
