Women can boost a good cause by signing up to a free day of relaxation, movement and mindfulness at a Farnham boutique this weekend.
Shoppers can get a different kind of retail therapy on West Street this Sunday as Sweaty Betty is hosting a wellness day.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Sweaty Betty Foundation which supports able and disabled girls aged 11 to 15 to stay active and discover sports they love.
While participation in the event and its programme of classes is free, donations are welcome as contributions will help girls to promote their physical and mental well-being.
Visitors can kickstart their day with an energising Pilates sculpt class with Jo Ellis and follow it up with a rejuvenating stretch class with Hannah Epps.
Sharry Woodcock-Allen will give visitors the lowdown on Barre – an uplifting activity that combines elements of ballet, Pilates and strength training – while Louise Crow-Arnold will roll out the mat for a calming yoga session.
Nic Vaughan will give a talk on nutrition before the day ends with meditation and a 20-minute mini-massage or reflexology session to easy any lingering tension.
If you like the sound of that and are ready to unwind and recharge in aid of a good cause then be quick and book a place with limited spaces available.
Would-be participants can sign up via the Sweaty Betty Farnham Facebook or Instagram page. Alternatively, book a place in person by popping into the town centre shop.
