WE WANT to keep the party going for you at home - that’s the message from Yia Yia’s co-founder Paul Pyrgoudes.

Forced to close because of the coronavirus crisis, Paul was keen to let customers know that despite this, work at Yia Yia’s would not stop.

"Yia Yia’s will not be rolling over to the coronavirus - we will be trading," Paul said.

The team are now offering a contact-less payment service.

This will see customers collect their food from outside the restaurant at the The Fox on Frensham Road, Lower Bourne, Farnham.

Paul said the restaurant was also offering free delivery to customers within a three-mile radius of The Fox.

There will also be a new takeaway menu for main meals and desserts, and customers can also order drinks.

The delivery service comes after the ’pub’ scooped five awards at The Best of Business awards, including ’Farnham Restaurant of the Year’ and ’UK Restaurant of the Year.’

Of the awards, Paul said: "We have had a great year, and we’re now really excited and we want to say a big thank you to all our customers for continuing to support us, as well as the team here."

While he admitted the team would have held a celebration, the current crisis has not made that possible.
