Advantage Padel will open an indoor seven-court padel venue in Kingsley in February.
This centre will cater to the increasing popularity of padel, the fastest growing sport in the world.
Last April there were only 300 courts in the UK, as opposed to 15,000 in Spain, 2,500 in Sweden, 3,000 in Italy and numerous others in Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and the USA.
Kingsley will be the first multiple indoor court venue in Hampshire. The courts meet international competition standards, are equipped with the latest technology and will be open from 7am to 10pm every day.
There will be a bistro, a licensed bar, specially brewed coffee, private changing rooms, free parking and a sports shop with racquet hire.
All standards and ages of players are welcome, and they do not need to wear whites. There will be coaches catering for all levels from beginner to expert.
The venue will offer a variety of programmes to engage the local community, including coaching sessions for all ages and skill levels, competitive leagues and social events aimed at fostering a vibrant padel community.
It will also host regional, national and international tournaments, attracting players and spectators from far and wide.
Schools and corporate groups are most welcome, and Advantage Padel will tailor events and courses as required.
To celebrate the opening, a grand event is planned for this summer. It will feature exhibition matches with top-ranked players, free coaching clinics and family friendly activities.
