This Christmas a museum will be taking children and parents on a magical journey aboard the Polar Express to visit Santa.

Santa’s Grotto has been set up at the Rural Life Living Museum in Tilford, with trains leaving from Reeds Road Station near the museum.

Children up to the age of 12 who have been on their best behaviour throughout the year will receive a personalised gift from Santa, complete with their name, as well as a special sticker to mark their visit to the grotto.

Visitors will enjoy a scenic ride past the museum’s gates before stepping off to walk through a winter wonderland of trees leading to Santa’s Grotto.

While waiting for their turn to meet the white-bearded, jolly man himself, elves will be on hand to keep families entertained with a variety of fun craft activities.
