The Friends of Royal Surrey Charity invite the local community to A Positive Festive Note, an evening of lively seasonal musical performances. 

Raising funds for Royal Surrey Charity’s  Cancer and Surgical Innovation Campaign,  the concert takes place  at the  Medici Theatre  at Weydon School, Weydon Road, Farnham on Friday, December 8.

The festive evening  features seasonal songs performed by The Royal Surrey Choir, Farnham and Bourne Choral Society, Harmonix and Weydon School, led by musical director Jake Hellier, who works for NHS England. The bar opens at 7pm and the concert will start at 7.30pm.

Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s leading centres for the treatment of cancer and for the use of robotic surgery, which supports less invasive and more accurate techniques.

To develop this expertise and further enhance patient experience, a new centre is set to be built at Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, which will revolutionise surgery in Surrey and the South East. The new centre will mean an additional 7,000 patients a year will benefit from surgical procedures, including life-saving cancer surgery.

Money raised from the concert will help secure the best equipment and technology for the new surgical centre, while making sure the environment is comfortable and welcoming for patients.
