ST Mary’s C of E Infant School in Frensham is delighted to announce that it has become an associate member of South Farnham Educational Trust.
Headteacher Jennifer Downing said: “We’ve always enjoyed a close link with South Farnham School as many of our children move there for their junior education.
“Becoming an associate member of the highly successful South Farnham Educational Trust strengthens this link and will benefit St Mary’s in many ways.
“We retain our governance, values, ethos and independence as a church school whilst at the same time accessing shared training and development of staff. We will work together while emphasising the unique nature of each school.”
St Mary’s is a small village school, appreciated by parents for its family atmosphere and long-standing traditions – including an Easter Egg Hunt on Frensham Common and May Day celebrations.
The school will maintain this ethos while being able to access support and advice from the South Farnham Educational Trust.
Children at St. Mary’s go on to attend either South Farnham Juniors or Waverley Abbey Junior School. St. Mary’s is a named feeder school for Waverley Abbey with whom it also has a strong and valued relationship.
