A “seriously funny” man who previously vowed to make things better will bring his hilarious brand of self-mocking Jewish humour to Bordon this Saturday (November 9).

Edinburgh fringe favourite Ian Stone will follow hot on the heels of Lucy Porter by becoming one of the first comedians to perform at the new-look Phoenix Theatre.

His new show is called Ian Stone is Keeping it Together, which is quite remarkable when you consider the state of the world and where it’s going.

What does it matter that he has all his own hair and teeth and keeps a tight control over his between meal snacking when there’s war in the Middle east and Donald Trump could be allowed back into the White House?

How can there be such terrible pain and suffering in the world, even though Ian always rates his WhatsApp call, package delivery and parking experience? And what happens to all the pens he buys?

These and other questions will get the answers they deserve.

The show will begin at 8pm with doors opening at 7.30pm with tickets priced £16 to include a booking free through the box office on 01420 472664 or www.phoenixarts.co.uk
