Difficult questions were recently asked at a Farnham bookshop as a local author dazzled guests with fun facts and curiosities.

Friends, family members and guests tried to provide the answers when MISC was launched at the Waterstones in Lion & Lamb Yard.

The book is the brainchild of Christian Tate, Marcus Webb and Rob Orchard, with the latter author from The Bourne speaking at the launch event which included a book signing and quiz.

The book is billed as a “compendium of delightfully random facts” which have featured in the trio’s Delayed Gratification magazine over the last 14 years.

Quiz sheets challenging visitors to name the only flag with a Kalashnikov on it and what explorer Victor Vescovo found at the bottom of the Mariana Trench were handed to guests.

While some resorted to the Internet and the book to find the answers, others gave it their best shot with coveted MISC-branded chocolate bars being awarded to the top quizzers.

Rob’s speech gave the answers whilst thanking and congratulating the team behind him for making the publication a reality.

You can find the book at all major retailers such as Amazon, Waterstones and WHSmith or head to https://www.bloomsbury.com/uk/misc-9781526675231/
