Two plays at the same time featuring the same cast playing the same characters is the task being taken on by the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre and the Guildford Shakespeare Company.

Sally Anne Lowe, the Arnaud’s director of marketing and customer experience, said: “Plans are racing ahead for our non-identical twin summer productions, The Comedy of Errors and A Company of Rascals, in and around the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford from July 10 to 26.

“It could be quite a lot to get your head round, so we’ve made a short video to explain, with Guildford Shakespeare’s Matt Pinches taking you through what’s going to happen and how it all works.

“This is a massive undertaking for Guildford’s two producers of great theatre, celebrating our friendship, the end of the theatre’s major capital refurbishment in its 60th year, and our shared commitment to create excellent original entertainment.”
