On Saturday 15 June Hollowdene Recreation Ground will be host to a wide range of fun and entertainment as the Frensham Fayre returns for year 51.
Between 1:00pm and 5:00pm residents and guests can enjoy live music, fun activities, food and drink and over 60 stalls selling a variety of items including produce and crafts
The Fayre also has many prizes to be won with tombola’s and a Grand Draw this year’s Grand Draw features tickets to the Weyfest Music Festival, meat vouchers and so many more prizes to be won.
Sport lovers can test themselves against other residents in Frensham’s fittest competition and for those looking for a serious challenge, you can go up against two-time Olympic rower Mark Hunter MBE who won a Gold medal in Beijing 2008 and a silver medal in London 2012.
Frensham and Dockenfield Horticultural Society will be hosting a Rose competition with 5 classes to compete in all that is needed is an exhibit and a completed entry form that you must register before 1pm at the marquee at the fair. The judges will then judge the rose and announce the winners at 3pm
Vehicle enthusiasts have a chance to enjoy classic and vintage motors as resident show off their cars at Frensham Fayre Classic Car Show all money raised from the car show will go to the vine centre in Aldershot
The fun also is not exclusive to the ground as at approximately 3.30pm a Spitfire and Hurricane from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will take to the sky in an air display.
