FLAMES and a cloud of thick black smoke were seen rising from a home in Old Park Close, Folly Hill last Friday afternoon.
Surrey Fire and Rescue Service confirmed five fire engines and an aerial ladder attended the blaze in the upper floor of the house at around 3.50pm on February 23.
The fire was extinguished at around 5.50pm, but firefighters remained on site overnight as a precaution. No injuries have been reported.
