The UK’s biggest bird park new attraction “Love + Colour” has had its first visitors in a special opening event including a colourful ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Birdworld hosted special guests in a VIP event to honour the new attraction before it is opened to the public on Saturday 25 May.

Cllr Catherine Clark Chairman of East Hampshire District Council helped launch the colourful new indoor attraction at Birdworld with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Also in attendance was the mayor of Farnham Cllr Brodie Mauluka and Cllr Anthony Williams.

The attraction is located in Birdworld’s former temperate house and the event gave lucky guests a sneak peak at the new attraction that feature a walkthrough experience as well as murals paint by Jen Leach as well as colourful drinks and canapés.

One visitor described the new attraction as “Beautifully designed with new discoveries at every turn.”

Love + Colour includes interactive experiences as well as Instagrammable selfie spots so families and friends can take fun photos together. The experience is both educational and fun aiming to highlight the similarities and differences between the way birds and humans build relationships. The attraction is designed with interactive play in mind so children can learn through play.

Love + Colour is a free attraction included with admission but the official launch celebrations end the 2 June.
