Looking for a fun family day out? Head down to Froyle’s Village Fete on Saturday, July 6 from 1pm to 4:30pm at the Recreation Ground. Entry is free and everyone is welcome!

The fete has been running for 70 years and maintains its old-school feel while entertaining every generation.

If you love wholesome but silly games of inter-village rivalry the fete is offering beat the goalie, children’s races, welly wanging, Tug of war and many more. Or why not put on an attractive inflatable suit and try your hand at Sumo wrestling?

A range of refreshments are also on offer, which you could enjoy while browsing the flowers, produce and bric-a-bracs with your friends and family.

Headlining event of the day is the annual Dog Show, parade around your perfect pooch or maybe win ‘dog most like their owner’.
