People from all walks of life came together in Tilford on Sunday to achieve a major fundraising feat.
More than 2,000 people took part in the annual Beacon of Peace Charity Walk at Waverley Abbey School on Sunday.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association hope to raise £500,000 in support of 24 charities with the figure already passing the £210,000 mark.
This year’s event was another testament to community spirit and generosity with people from all backgrounds coming together for a common cause.
Participants also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast ahead of the morning walk with Lutfur Rehman, Beacon of Peace chair, expressing his gratitude to participants.
He said: “Today, each step we take symbolizes our commitment to fostering a world where peace is not just a dream, but a reality.
“Remember, peace is not a distant goal but a journey that we all take together - one step at a time.”
