An independent school in Church Crookham has started the New Year by securing a place in a prestigious national league for excellence.

St Nicholas’ School has been ranked sixth nationally in The Times Parent Power league tables for independent schools without a sixth form.

Published annually, these tables are widely regarded as a definitive guide to Britain’s top schools, assessing academic performance at GCSE and A-Level across the country.

Headteacher Dr Olwen Wright said “We are thrilled to receive this recognition. This achievement is a testament to the collective efforts of our entire school community.

“Our dedicated teachers, hardworking pupils, and supportive parents have all played a crucial role in securing this milestone. It is a fantastic way to start the new year and the spring term.”
