Fred Sweetman, a 15-year-old former student of Farnham’s de Meric School of Dance, recently gave a superb performance as the Raven in the London Children’s Ballet Snow White at the Peacock Theatre in London.

Aurelia Whitfield, principal of the de Meric school, was “very proud” to see Fred’s excellent performance and said she admired the professionalism of the cast and choreography. Fred joined de Meric aged two, and at the age of 11 he won a place at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts where he does ballet, modern, tap, contemporary and choir.

The next de Meric ballet Adora’s Gift will be performed in the Aldridge Theatre at Frensham Heights School on May 20 at 1.30pm and 5.30pm, and May 21 at 1.30pm.
