A Wrecclesham woman has been reunited with her one-eyed missing cat after a desperate ten-week search.
Lauren French spent thousands of pounds and walked nearly 100,000 steps after Sparky vanished on February 5.
The cat disappeared after its 28-year-old owner with Multiple Sclerosis faced her own health crisis and the loss of her aunt. Lauren admitted it was “getting to the point where I thought I may not see him again” only to get a call last week that Sparky had been found in Runfold.
An elderly lady named Margaret had reported the missing cat to Cats Protection with Lauren finding him sunbathing on the garage when she arrived.
Margaret also kept him well fed as he returned home a kilo heavier.
