A PUB in Buriton could become a B&B if planners give the scheme the green light next month. A planning application has been submitted for a change of use for The Maple Inn to bed-and-breakfast accommodation. It includes the building of two three-bedroom detached homes at the rear of the pub, currently used as a car park, to help fund the conversion. The Maple Inn on the junction of Greenway Lane and Petersfield Road, formerly known as The Master Robert, lies within the South Downs National Park but outside Buriton's conservation area and has been up for sale since late last year.
