SIXTH-formers at All Hallows School used this year's Rag Week to raise awareness of a cause close to their hearts.

As usual, students celebrated by wearing fancy dress and tackling wacky activities such as 'baked bean boots' and a slave auction.

But this year's festivities held extra significance, as students raised funds for Great Ormond Street as well as awareness for organ donation, in memory of a fellow student who died from kidney failure last year.

Organised by head of the charity committee, sixth-former Becca Lee, the week also included a tug of war competition, cake sales and a soak the teacher competition.

Students hope to exceed last year's total of £3,000 for charity.
