Expect joyful and triumphant scenes in a Farnham church as Rotarians are coming together to spread some musical festive cheer.
The annual Rotary Carol Service is coming to St Joan of Arc Catholic Church with a “musical feast” being served up from 6.30pm on Wednesday, December 11.
It should be a treat with the choristers of St Thomas-on The Bourne singing under the baton of director Jordan Theis while the organ will be played by Rotarian and overall director of music, Brian Cotterill.
The long-running annual service, which will be followed by drinks and mince pies in St Joan’s Centre, is also held to acknowledge the wonderful work of many local service clubs.
Farnham Weyside Rotary Club and Farnham Rotary Club are behind the free event which is open to everyone with no booking or tickets required.
A retiring collection in aid of the local foodbank and Parish Church Restoration Fund will follow.
