East Hampshire District Council is seeking resident views on walking and cycling routes that form a new plan.

The East Hampshire District Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan sets out the ambition for investment in walking and cycling in the East Hampshire area (including the section South Downs National Park) over the next 10 years.

The plan has been informed by engagement with community representatives and local organisations.

Residents are able to submit their thoughts through a survey and the feedback will be used to prioritise cycling and walking improvements. There is also an online map where people can view other responses to the proposed routes in their area.

The survey asks residents about:

  • their travel habits
  • cycling routes
  • core walking zones and walking routes
  • a bit about themselves

All questions are optional and it should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. The survey will close just before midnight on Sunday, November 17.
