The Waverley Singers will foray in the world of Gabriel Faure when they perform their Summer Concert in St Andrew’s Farnham this Saturday, June 22.
Expect yet another vocal masterclass from the choir with the composer’s Requiem being followed by Hubert Parry’s Song of Farewell and other reflective pieces of music.
The choir will be accompanied by organist Philip Scriven and the concert will be conducted by Richard Pearce.
Tickets are available for £15 for those who book in advance and £18 for those who book at the door on the day. Student tickets are £5 and U16s go free if accompanied by a paying adult.
This year’s summer concert will raise money in a collection for charity the Cheryl King Trust which aims to make sure no child in Surrey is prevented from learning a musical instrument.
