WEY HILL was swarmed by police on February 1 at 10.15am after responding to reports of a woman armed with a knife in the street.

A woman in her 30s was detained and arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and criminal damage. She remains in custody. 

The police said: “We understand the significant police presence in the area may have caused concern and want to thank you for your patience while we dealt with this incident.”
