There were big breaks galore as the Farnham & District Billiards & Snooker League got back to business after its previous audience with Mark Williams.

The man who officiated the presentation evening may well be playing next year, as Paul Lee knocked in a season-high 62 for Sovereign A in a 4-0 whitewash of Fleet Broadway.

Their opponents praised the “high quality” snooker, with Shakeel Shaneel also making a 48 break.

Leaders Sovereign B continued their relentless drive with a consecutive 4-0 win – this time over Passfield B.

It’s bliss to be Liss at the moment as all three of their sides won 4-0. The second-placed A team saw off Sovereign C, the Bs won at Bourne B, and the Cs remain undefeated and lead Division Two by seven after beating Rowledge B.

Lee Coyne and Dong Ming Lau also made 34 breaks for Bordon B and Shottermill respectively, but it’s tight, with four points separating second from tenth.

Alton Cons F and Hindhead A are joint top of Division Three following draws against Traco E and Frensham D.
