A Runfold firm is driving towards a greener future in waste management with its latest acquisition.
Chambers Waste Management is leading the charge in sustainable waste collection by adding a Volvo FE electric skip loader to its fleet.
It’s being hailed as a pivotal milestone in the firm’s operations as the zero-emission electric vehicle is the first in the company’s fleet.
The “ground-breaking” addition also highlights the firm’s commitment to sustainability while positioning them at the forefront of eco-friendly waste collection in Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex.
The skip loader is equipped with cutting-edge Hyva technology and promises a reduction in carbon emissions and a significant decrease in noise pollution.
“This electric skip loader represents more than just a new vehicle in our fleet,” said the firm’s managing director, Pete Chambers.
“It’s a testament to our ongoing commitment to sustainability and our responsibility to the communities we serve.”
