The Graduate Show at the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham runs from June 13 to 25 and gives the public a chance to see the students’ work.

This year’s graduates have played and experimented, forged new ways of working and are shaping the future across disciplines from fashion, music and graphic design to illustration, fine art, digital art, games, photography, film, media and the performing arts.

Heather Whelton, who is graduating in animation, said: “I love to experiment with my visuals, testing what does and doesn’t work, and to discover how I can push mediums in ways that haven't been widely explored before. It can be a labour of love and very time-consuming, but I would argue that the results make it all worth it.”

Jingchen Zhang, a jewellery graduate, added: “I was inspired by the idea that light can be a gemstone, and through experiments with glass and sunlight passing through water I hope to show the beauty of light as jewellery to adorn us.”

The free show is open 10am-4pm Monday to Friday and 10am-3pm Saturday.
