A town councillor is dyeing to get on the dancefloor after showing a lot of bottle in aid of a Farnham school.
Cllr Chris Jackman is moving from the council chamber to the classroom as he’s signed up to a 12-hour dance-a-thon in aid of William Cobbett Primary School.
It’s a brave move from the councillor – not least because he’s also in the process of dyeing his hair purple for the marathon fundraiser, held to mark 50 years of the school.
He was seeing blue on Monday after two-and-a-half hours of bleaching and 30 minutes of colouring with Academy Hair, with a final colouring session later this week.
Chris has already raised £825 for the school but it’s not too late to sponsor him, especially as the fundraiser wants to reach the £1,000 mark before Saturday.
