Residents are invited to share their insights and gain more information about a new housing development.
Waverley Borough Council is hosting a drop-in event at Elstead Youth Centre on Wednesday, July 10 to view plans for 26 new homes from 3.15pm to 6.15pm.
Attendees will be able to meet with the team managing the project, talk about the proposals and ask any questions. The plan is to demolish 10 existing properties and replace them with the new homes at Springfield in Elstead. Solar panels will produce renewable energy to power the new homes, including electric vehicle charging points and energy efficient LED lighting. Air Source Heat Pumps will provide a more efficient way of heating the homes, and high-quality double glazing will keep the heat in and the cold out. Anyone who is unable to attend is able to view the plans online at www.waverley.gov.uk/housingdev.
