Tucked away on a council noticeboard at the bus stop outside West Street Cemetery an unknown artist has displayed a poster that says “Farnham is a Wonderful Town.”

The council should be notified and permit any additions to their noticeboards. The artist named “Hetty” created a wonderful poster at the bus stop including cut-outs from local groups and facts about the town.

Farnham Town Clerk, Ian Lynch said: “What a fantastic thing this lady has done and is befitting as next month we celebrate craft month. Obviously, we can’t have people advertising without our permission but as this clearly is a community art project and not an advertisement we would like it to stay.”

In a letter to The Herald, one resident said: “Well done Hetty, and thank you for your imagination, it has brightened up the bus stop.”

But one question remains who is Hetty and where will her work light up next?
